Education On Wheels is established with the motto to literate out of school children also children attending the government schools but dwelling in slums.
We bring teachers to the door steps of these educationally deprived children wherever we find them.
We conduct the class in bus itself for the duration of 2hours. Street children, construction labourer's children, rag picker, slum children come and attend the class. We conduct a support class to provide proper education to these needy pupils . After taking the support class in one area the bus leads to the another destination.
We also find out of school children and bring them into main stream.
We provide informal education to illiterate children.
We check the issues of these people at grass root level and counsel their parents regarding the importance of education and convince them to send their wards to school. They are actually the people who have been illiterate far generations.
We emphasise more on English, Maths and Science subjects in our class.
They are also given the exposure of computer literacy in Mobile School.
Audio Visual aid in the bus is used to motivate children to pursue education.
We create such environment where learning is conducive.
Till now more than 300 children are adopted educationally.
We provide transport facility to school going children to reduce drop out ratio of schools.
